Gough Recruitment has announced that it is opening a new office in Singapore - An official grand opening of the Gough Recruitment (Singapore) Pte Ltd office is planned for August 2011.

Singapore was the logical first step in this expansion, says Managing Director, Joel Barbuto "because it possesses a favourable business climate and a highly educated workforce."

"With the rapid rise of Singapore as a major force in the global economy, Gough Recruitment has been considering ways to partner and engage with Singapore's Property and Development community" said Barbuto, "I am extremely please with this latest development." Singapore is only the first step in the planned line of expansion into Asia, Brabuto added, and views Gough's presence in Singapore as a great step into Asia.

2011 Cooley Golf Classic

Gough Recruitment proudly sponsored the Cooley Golf Classic on Friday 20 May 2011 which is a charity golf day and auction raising money for Youth Off the Streets. This is the 4^th year running that Gough has supported the event with all proceeds going to a very worthy cause.

As we finally celebrate the announcement of our new Prime Minister and her cabinet, Retail Shopping Centres continue to be one of the strongest performing markets even though there has been a decrease in sales in the past few months.

JP Morgan analyst Rob Stanton said Australian real estate investment trusts (A-REITs) had generally delivered a cautious outlook and results that were in line with expectations, rather than acquisitions. He said there had been five clear outperformers during the month..
