Joel Barbuto Dip. Business Management Joel started his career with Gough Recruitment over eight years ago as a Consultant where he leveraged off his background in Real Estate property management and sales. His determination and passion for the business saw him rise quickly through the ranks and today is the Managing Director of five Gough Recruitment offices both domestically and overseas. Joel’s extensive experience in Real Estate and recruitment coupled with his ability to successfully manage the business ensures that clients and candidates are provided with a seamless recruitment process. Joel oversees the groups operation and works across strategy, growth, recruitment and training for the organisation. |

Darren Gorrel Darren joined Gough Recruitment as a Candidate Resourcer in 2007, where his hands on experience as a Sales Executive in one of Southern Sydney's premier Real Estate agencies provided him with intimate knowledge, the skills and personality needed to be successful within the industry. Prior to this, Darren ran his own successful retail business before being drawn to the pace and potential of Real Estate. His knowledge and enthusiasm along with his ability to identify great staff gained him a promotion to Senior Consultant, where he earned the reputation of one of our top consultants. Most recently Darren has stepped into the position of NSW State Manager. In this role he spends his time coaching and developing the Sydney team while tending to his clients with his ever professional approach. |

Tara Lanham B. Science (Psychology) Tara began her career with Gough as a Receptionist in 2009 and was quickly moved into a Talent Manager role. Supporting the Property team she achieved great success, displaying high levels of commitment to her candidates. After spending four months travelling abroad she jumped at the opportunity to return to Gough as the Operations Manager to cover a maternity leave contract. Tara’s extensive university studies in Psychology and Human Resource Management have equipped her with the skills and knowledge to take on this diverse and demanding role. |

Danielle Sheridan Danielle has returned to Gough to take over the retail portfolio, having spent the last few years working across a variety of different sectors for a number of multi national recruitment firms. With over 5 years recruitment experience, Danielle has developed strong professional relationships across a vast network of clientele. Both candidates and clients value her commitment, resourcefulness, personal attention, and high level of professional ethics. Danielle is a strong negotiator and has played an integral part in securing many PSA’s within the property sector. Danielle is also well travelled and has an interesting background having worked in overseas countries such as Greece & Mexico. Ella Toohey Bachelor of Arts (Communications & Business) Ella Toohey joined Gough Recruitment as a Candidate Resourcer in February 2005 and has a strong following. She is a great asset to the business with a highly developed knowledge and understanding of people's needs. Her talents were quickly recognised and appreciated within Gough and she was promoted to Talent Manager at the beginning of 2009. Samantha Fennelly Samantha has brought to Gough 12 years of experience, with a specific focus on the eastern suburbs. Samantha spent 10 years in a hands-on Property Management role before she was promoted to a managerial role for the Property Management Department of a large real estate agency. Samantha brings highly developed skills in business development with finely tuned time management and client communication ability that brings additional strength to our team. Alicia Swain Alicia joined Gough in late 2007 on a temporary basis within the Administration Team. Her rapid progression through the organisation to the position of Consultant is a clear reflection on her skills and enthusiasm for the Real Estate industry. Amy Hannigan After finishing her studies in 2007, Amy commenced her career in Banking and Finance which allowed her to gain excellent customer service skills and an ability to build rapport with both customers and clients. Amy was then offered an exciting opportunity to work for a high end boutique real estate agency in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. This experience ignited her interest in the Real Estate and Property industry and gave her an understanding of the skills and knowledge essential to support clients and candidates through the recruitment process.
