Joel started his career with Gough Recruitment over eight years ago as a Consultant where he leveraged off his background in Real Estate property management and sales. His determination and passion for the business saw him rise quickly through the ranks and today is the Managing Director of five Gough Recruitment offices both domestically and overseas. Joel’s extensive experience in Real Estate and recruitment coupled with his ability to successfully manage the business ensures that clients and candidates are provided with a seamless recruitment process. Joel oversees the groups operation and works across strategy, growth, recruitment and training for the organisation.

Darren Gorrel

Darren joined Gough Recruitment as a Candidate Resourcer in 2007, where his hands on experience as a Sales Executive in one of Southern Sydney's premier Real Estate agencies provided him with intimate knowledge, the skills and personality needed to be successful within the industry. Prior to this, Darren ran his own successful retail business before being drawn to the pace and potential of Real Estate. His knowledge and enthusiasm along with his ability to identify great staff gained him a promotion to Senior Consultant, where he earned the reputation of one of our top consultants. Most recently Darren has stepped  into the position of NSW State Manager. In this role he spends his time coaching and developing the Sydney team while tending to his clients with his ever professional approach.

Tara began her career with Gough as a Receptionist in 2009 and was quickly moved into a Talent Manager role. Supporting the Property team she achieved great success, displaying high levels of commitment to her candidates. After spending four months travelling abroad she jumped at the opportunity to return to Gough as the Operations Manager to cover a maternity leave contract. Tara’s extensive university studies in Psychology and Human Resource Management have equipped her with the skills and knowledge to take on this diverse and demanding role.
